1.1. Introducing rolloutMan Product
This section provides a high level introduction of rolloutMan product, how it is made available for you to use, and an introduction of the menu, modules in rolloutMan, and the different views.
Deployment
rolloutMan is a web based application, and is available in the following deployments:
- As a pre-hosted & mutli-tenant application. In other words, its all ready for you to simply register and start using. Simply connect to https://app.rolloutman.com/ and start using this platform.
- As a private cloud hosted instance. Simply contact us and we will host a separate instance for you.
- As a on-premise (aka on-prem) instance, where you provide the hosting platform to host the software.
Application View
Once a user logs in, the user is taken directly to the Rollout Dashboard in the "Application view". This is the primary part of the application where the application is to be used by all the users. Unlike Configuration View, this part of the application is available to all types of users, except users with "SysAdmin" roles.
Refer documentation around Users, Groups and Roles for more information on different roles available.
Application View has a "Contextual menu" on the left side, with the main body of the application in the right side. Rest of the sections are as marked on the image below.

For some pages, for e.g. Task pages, the main body is split between a "form / data section" on the left and a "Information section" in the right.

Contextual Menu
Menu in the Application view is a Contextual menu. This is so called, because the menu expands based on the context.
Immediately after logging in, the menu is very simple and minimalistic.

As the user chooses different contexts, the menu expands based on the contexts to show the different options available.

Configuration view
